Austria Erects Fence To Bring Order To The Flow Of Migrants

Austria, an European country very critical of others that erect barriers to keep out immigrants, has decided to build a fence to bring order to the flow of immigrants entering their country.

Citizens from European Union (EU) countries have always been able to travel freely from one country to another. Austria’s move may set off a chain reaction from other EU countries that border the route taken by refugees fleeing their war-torn countries looking a better life in a more prosperous country.

The proposed barrier is planed to built by Austria alongside its neighboring country Slovenia. Since the Hungary sealed their borders, thousands of migrants using the western Balkans route into Austria have been flowing into Croatia and then Slovenia daily.

Smaller European countries lack the funds to support so many migrants entering their countries.
