Black Police Director Slams Black Lives Matter After One of His Own is Killed

A brave 33 year old police officer was killed in Memphis.  It was senseless tragedy. Officer Sean Bolton made a typical traffic stop. He was shot multiple times and died instantly.

Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong rejected this politically correct refrain of “black lives matter” to ask if all lives matter.

“There is a theme that black lives matter,” said a sullen Armstrong, who is black. “At the end of the day, we have to ask ourselves, do all lives matter? All lives matter … and this is just a reminder of how dangerous this job is.”

Police Director Armstrong came back to the “black lives matter” theme later in the news conference.

“One life is too many, but how do you put a value on somebody’s life?” he asked. “How do you say one life is more important than another.”
