Airport departure gates are usually a miserable place to wait, but not this time. Two World World II veterans were part of a group heading back home from Washington, D.C., courtesy of Honor Flight, a non-profit organization that flies vets to our nation’s capitol so they can visit memorials built to honor their service. The Ladies of Liberty, a Kentucky based singing group were at Washington’s Ronald Reagan airport and sang The Andrews Sisters iconic World War II hit “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.”
Marin Perryman and Paul Kopey, both World War II vets got in to the swing and had the time of their lives and started to dance at the airport waiting for their plane to arrive.
Don’t you hope you can dance like that in your 90’s!
