The press hasn’t given up ways to discredit Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, mostly due to his bold statements and his surge in the polls.
In the latest attack, it was reported that some liberal news media companies attempted to claim that Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan was copied from a Democrat. However, the rumors were dispelled after the following was tweeted (Sean Davis, The Federalist; John Podhoretz,Establishment Toadie; Andrew Kaczynski, BuzzFeed):
“Let’s Make America Great Again” was first used by Ronald Reagan in his 1980 presidential campaign, penned in 1979 at the time the U.S. was suffering from a worsening economy with high unemployment and inflation.
The liberal press should have done their homework first.
