You’ll Never Believe What Trump’s Wife Thinks of Illegals

Trump’s stance on illegal immigration is one of the major 2016 Presidential issues making headlines today and hotly debated by the candidates and the media, all fueled by Donald Trump’s position.

Jeb Bush made headlines after the televised CNN’s Republican party debate, when Bush demanded an apology from Trump regarding remarks he made about his wife, who was born in Mexico. Trump was correct, Bush made the same point in his own book.

The first two sentences of Jeb Bush’s 2013 book, “Immigration Wars,” Bush admitted that his wife Columba had in fact shaped his views on immigration. “Immigration to me is personal. It means my wife and my family.”  Trump and Bush agree that Columba Bush influenced Jeb’s immigration views.

Since presidential candidates wives are now in the public spotlight, what’s Melania Trump’s views on immigration?

Trump told CNN

“She went through a long process to become a citizen. It was very tough,” adding that Melania agrees with his immigration position. “When she got it, she was very proud of it. She came from Europe, and she was very, very proud of it. And she thinks it’s a beautiful process when it works.”

Mary Jordan reported in the Washington Post that Donald Trump’s wife Melania shies away from many public speaking engagements but will now find herself more in the spotlight.

Melania would become a new model as a first lady. Born in Slovenia, Melania was a former high fashion model, started her own jewelry line, and speaks four languages.

As reported by Mary Jordan,  “She provides great balance” to Trump, said Roger Stone, Trump’s former political adviser. She is smart “not just an arm-piece,” Stone said. “She would be the most glamorous first lady since Jackie Kennedy.”

Friends said Melania doesn’t accompany Donald on many of his cross country campaign tours since she prefers to stay at home with the couple’s 9-year-old son, Barron.
